Meaning: Horse, Trust
Associated English letter: E
Ehwaz speaks of unity, trust, loyalty, collaboration and companionship. A horse without a man is a wild, untamed force, but a man without a horse is not a rider. When two entities work together, success is achieved.
This rune also speaks of travel and transportation, the union of mind and body, marriage and harmonious relationships. The combination of emotional energies with the intellectual spark produce strong, lifelong partnerships. We are able to create an emotional understanding of another human being, because within ourselves we find the Other.
