Ocean Soul

Artwork created in tribute to Nightwish, their music and the way it has rooted itself in the deepest parts of my heart, travelling with me across time and shaping me profoundly. This piece is inspired by the official cover art for their album Century Child (2002), originally painted by Markus Mayer. During the process of transmuting this work I've felt my own style evolve into some very interesting directions.
