'Summer Begs'
A tribute to the arrival summer and the enchanting song by Sarah Jaffe. I discovered Summer Begs (as well as the rest of Sarah's incredible music) about a decade ago and the song has travelled with me across the years of my life until today. It's beautiful, soft, gentle, melancholic and dreamy and, as such, it touches the chords of my heart very often. I simply love it.
The song was uploaded by a Youtuber called 'Tonia', who used a photograph for it. That photograph, which I have turned into this artwork, is nowhere to be found anywhere else across the vast sea of the internet. It was my hope that, by turning it into art, I could save it for future generations in case something happened to the video (or the internet in general), as well as make others dream from it as much as it has made me dream.
