I-IV. Scarmiglione, the Blighted Despot

This is an interesting creature and it felt amazing to draw monsters again. Scarmiglione represents the element of Earth and is the first of the Archfiends that the player battles within the game. He may look like a gigantic zombie monster, but what's interesting about this guy is that he is associated with earth; to me, this signifies that he is a representation of death itself or the return to the earth, as well as rebirth. That's why I think green is an important colour in his design as that points to growth or re-growth from what is buried in the ground.
