“You reach an age where you realize that being a man isn't about respect or strength, it's about being aware of all the things you touch.”
This artwork pays tribute to the masterfully written character from Kurt Sutter's Sons of Anarchy, played by the talented Charlie Hunnam. I fell in love with this show recently, with its incredible writing and characters, as well as powerful themes. The theme of fatherhood, especially, is one that spoke to me profoundly. Jax is both is a father himself and a son to two different fathers, both of whom tried to teach him their own differing worldviews. A huge part of his journey is finding himself in all of that, and his tragic descent into an unescapable darkness is what makes this story so appealing.
