Meaning: 'Torch'

Its real translation is uncertain, but Kaunan or Kenaz may be the rune that best represents the search for knowledge. Fire is intellect, a quest for discovering obscure truths.
It is related to personal transformation, self-mastery and intuition, a tool we all posess that can aid us if we learn to use it. Illumination is enlightenment, the supreme knowledge found deep within each and every one of us. Kaunan is the torch that lights our path.
