'The Chimaera' is a piece inspired by Gustave Moreau's work from 1867; an example of Symbolist art, it represents a personal take on the ancient Greek myth of the Chimæra, a hybrid creature composed of different animal parts.
This time it is part human, and I personally interpreted it as a representation of various parts of the human psyche, different, varied and frightening. Yet only by embracing the whole may we take flight into the future.
