This piece is a partial recreation of 'A Pack of Wolves' by A.Kowalski (1849-1915), as well as a deeply personal meeting with the unconscious.
The black wolf leads the pack through the snowy fields. Who or what is the black wolf is a question I've asked myself within the depths of meditation, travelling through various layers of the mind until the wolf came and spoke to me without words. I sang to the wolf and welcomed His teachings.
I invite the viewer to take some time and rest in this time of the year, as winter always invites pause and reflection. Think about the falling snow, the ice covering the earth like white paint. Think upon death and the coming rebirth. Think about the wolves travelling through the desolate frozen wastelands of the soul.
