Jessamine is the Empress of the Isles, mother of Emily and political leader of Dunwall. At least she was, before the events of the first game in which her assassination triggers the chain of events that move the story forward. This character could've been really rich and detailed to write if only there was more time to develop her; she's not only a leader, an empress but also the first of her name and also a mother. All these roles and how Jessamine juggled them together could've been extremely fascinating to explore, especially in a climate like her court full of spies and liars.
In this pose I tried to represent the character and personality of the Empress in a way that maybe we don't get to see in the brief time we spend with her in game. I also painted some more details on the face that the model lacked.
